In April 2026, I travelled to Marrakech with The Raw Society to document the city's historic crafts, cultural traditions and everyday life. From the chaotic alleys of the medina to the workshops of artisans who continue to practice centuries-old trades, the project explores the relationship between heritage, labour and identity in one of North Africa's most vibrant urban centres.
Through photography and written reportage, this work examines the people and routines that shape Marrakech beyond its image as a tourist destination, documenting a city where tradition and modernity coexist in constant dialogue.

En abril de 2026 viajé a Marrakech junto a The Raw Society para documentar los oficios tradicionales, las costumbres y la vida cotidiana de la ciudad. Desde los caóticos callejones de la medina hasta los talleres de artesanos que continúan ejerciendo profesiones centenarias, el proyecto explora la relación entre patrimonio, trabajo e identidad en uno de los principales centros culturales del norte de África.
A través de la fotografía y la crónica escrita, este trabajo se adentra en las personas y sus rutinas, que dan forma a Marrakech más allá de su imagen turística, documentando una ciudad donde tradición y modernidad conviven en un diálogo permanente.
